The Story Behind Escrick Dog Retreat
Escrick Dog Retreat was created from a lifelong love of dogs and a desire to provide something truly personal.
Inspired by our much-loved Rottweiler, Prince, we understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust completely when leaving your dog in another person's care.
Prince was at the heart of our family for many years and taught us so much about companionship, loyalty and the special bond we share with our dogs. Although Prince is sadly no longer with us, his gentle nature and the love we had for him continue to inspire everything we do at Escrick Dog Retreat.
We know that dogs are family, and that's exactly how we believe they should be treated. By intentionally keeping numbers low, we're able to provide every guest with the individual care, companionship and attention they deserve.

Kerry is the heart of Escrick Dog Retreat and is passionate about providing a safe, loving and enriching environment for every dog that stays with us.
Having spent many years caring for dogs, Kerry understands that every dog is unique, with their own personality, routines and preferences. Whether your dog enjoys long countryside walks, quiet companionship or plenty of playtime, their stay will always be tailored to their individual needs.
Kerry's aim is simple: to ensure every dog feels relaxed, secure and truly at home during their stay.
